Royal Standard

Hosta "Royal Standard" review

The hosta Royal Standard was introduced in 1965 and was the first ever patented variety. Royal Standard is one of the best hostas for deep, dark shade. Plants are extremely hardy with shiny, bright green leaves. Royal Standard can reach up to 40″ tall when mature. Hummingbirds love the sweet fragrant white flowers that appear in August. Very easy to grow.
