Overview

A sport of *Hosta* 'Striptease' registered in 2000, 'Kiwi Full Monty' is a small, fast-growing cultivar distinguished by its blue-green leaf centers with gold margins, a color reversal of its parent. The leaves bear a glaucous bloom on both surfaces and exhibit slightly rippled margins, creating a muted, textured appearance.

In the Garden

This compact hosta forms a mound 19.7 inches (50 cm) in both height and diameter, making it suitable for the front of borders or rock gardens. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical of hosta-growing zones, and pairs well with ferns, heucheras, and other small shade perennials. Its small size also makes it a candidate for container cultivation.

Care Notes

Provide consistent moisture, especially during dry periods, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. As with most hostas, slug and deer damage may occur and should be managed as needed.
