Registered in 2012 as a sport of *Hosta* 'Kiwi Full Monty', 'My Lucky Star' is a medium-sized cultivar distinguished by its blue-green leaf centers with white margins. The leaves are elliptic with rounded bases, measuring 10 inches (25.4 cm) long and 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) wide, with eight pairs of veins; the white margin is approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide and flat, while the blue-green center is dull on both surfaces.

In the Garden

This cultivar forms a mound-like clump reaching 31.5 inches (80.0 cm) in diameter and 15.75 inches (40.0 cm) in height, with a fast growth rate. It is noted for sun resistance, making it suitable for brighter positions than many hostas, though it performs reliably in typical hosta-growing zones with partial to dappled shade. Its medium stature and bold variegation pair well with ferns, heucheras, and other shade-tolerant perennials in border or woodland settings.

Care Notes
