Overview
Registered in 2012 as a sport of an unnamed parent, 'June Spirit' is a medium-sized hosta distinguished by its unusually wide, dark green margins and exceptionally shiny leaf surfaces. The ovate leaves emerge greenish yellow with a gray-green cast, maturing to a green center with a dark green border measuring 0.75 to 1 inch (1.9–2.5 cm) wide, with 9 to 11 vein pairs per leaf.

'June Spirit' forms a compact, mound-like clump reaching 12 inches (30.5 cm) in height and 16 inches (40.6 cm) in diameter, with moderate growth rate.
