Hosta "Patriot" review
Hosta Patriot is a perennial herb 55 cm high and 75 cm wide. It blooms in July-August with lilac flowers. The leaves are wide, oval, with a wavy edge. The leaves are of dark green color, but with a wide bright white border. Hosta Patriot prefers penumbra and well-drained soil. Bushes that have strongly grown up, can grow in the same place without a transplantation for many years. What is more, they are easily transplanted with a clod of earth and usually transplantation doesn’t make any damage to the plant (if it is done correctly). Hostas do not require special care. During the dry period, regular watering is necessary. Hosta Patriot is grown in rockeries, in shady areas or near the water.
