Registered in 2012, 'Occupy Wall Street' is a small hosta cultivar of unknown parentage. It is visually distinctive for its medium blue-green leaves with narrow white margins, slightly rippled edges, and a compact mound-like habit.

In the Garden

This small hosta reaches a mature size of approximately 5 inches (12.7 cm) tall and 7 to 8 inches (17.8 to 20.3 cm) wide, forming a tidy mound. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical of hosta-growing zones, and pairs well with other small shade perennials such as heucheras, ferns, or dwarf astilbes. Its compact size makes it suitable for container cultivation or rock garden settings.

Care Notes

Water regularly to maintain consistent soil moisture, especially during dry periods. Fertilize in early spring with a balanced, slow-release formulation. As with most hostas, slug and deer damage may occur; monitor and manage as needed.
