Overview
A 2015 sport of *Hosta* 'Mighty Moe', 'Mighty Moe Supreme' is a miniature cultivar distinguished by its nearly round, dull green leaves edged with creamy white margins. The leaf margins are approximately 0.25in (0.6cm) wide and slightly rippled, while the blade itself measures 1.5in (3.8cm) long by 1in (2.5cm) wide with seven pairs of veins. The plant forms a low, mound-like clump reaching 6in (15.2cm) in height and 8in (20.3cm) in diameter, with a moderate growth rate. Scapes rise 5 to 6in (12.7 to 15.2cm) above the foliage and are green.
In the Garden
'Mighty Moe Supreme' is well suited to shaded or partially shaded positions in the garden, where its miniature stature makes it an effective foreground or edging plant. At maturity, the clump spreads to roughly 8in (20.3cm) across and stands 6in (15.2cm) tall, making it appropriate for rock gardens, troughs, or small container plantings. Companion plants should be similarly diminutive, such as small ferns or miniature sedges, to maintain scale.
Care Notes
Provide consistent moisture during the growing season, particularly in containers, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. As with most hostas, slug and deer damage may occur and should be managed through routine garden practices.
