Registered in 2015 by an unknown hybridizer, *Hosta* 'Valley's Dolce Vita' is a giant cultivar derived from *Hosta* 'Valley's Streaked Goose'. It is visually distinctive for its large, broadly ovate leaves with blue-green centers and white margins, the leaf surface further streaked with blue, green, yellow, and white tones and covered with a glaucous bloom on both surfaces.

'Valley's Dolce Vita' reaches a mature diameter of approximately 35 inches (89.9 cm) and a height of 31.5 inches (80.0 cm), with an upright growth habit and fast growth rate. It is suitable for partial to dappled shade in typical hosta-growing zones and pairs well with other bold-textured shade perennials such as ferns or astilbes. Its substantial size makes it appropriate as a specimen or focal point in larger borders or woodland gardens.
