Overview
Registered in 2016, *Hosta* 'Purple Mischief' is a medium-sized cultivar of unknown parentage distinguished by its highly glossy, blue-green foliage and deep purple flowers borne on purple scapes. The ovate leaves, measuring 7 inches (17.8 cm) long and 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) wide, exhibit a very shiny upper and lower surface with flat margins and a tapered base.

'Purple Mischief' forms an upright, moderate-growing clump reaching 15 inches (38.1 cm) in height and 18 inches (45.7 cm) in diameter. It performs best in partial to full shade, as typical for blue-leaved hostas, where the leaf color remains truest.
