Registered in 2006, 'Inspire Greatness' is a medium-sized sport from a streaked breeder, distinguished by its intensely blue-green leaves with creamy white margins. The foliage measures 8 inches (20.3 cm) in length and 7 inches (17.8 cm) in width, with margins ranging from 0.25 to 0.75 inches (0.6 to 1.9 cm) wide.

In the Garden

This cultivar performs best in partial to full shade, where its blue-green centers and white margins maintain contrast without scorching. Mature plants reach medium size, forming clumps suitable for mid-border positions or as a textural accent among ferns, heucheras, or other shade perennials. Its moderate dimensions also allow for use in larger containers.

Care Notes

Provide consistent moisture during establishment and throughout dry periods, applying a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Standard slug and deer precautions are advisable, as both pests may damage the foliage.
