Hosta "Tranquility" review
Medium clump of rounded blue leaves with a gold border that rarely burns. Good substance but slow to grow. Lavender flowers in July. A sport of a `Aspen Gold' seedling. Becomes puckered with age. Green centered sport of a seedling of Hosta 'Aspen Gold', nice yellow-golden margin and develops good seersuckering; lavender flowers. Medium clump of rounded blue leaves with a gold border that does not burn. Lavender flowers in July. A good 'Frances Williams' type. The edge progresses over the year, beginning as a tranquil pruinose green and progressing to a fine margin. Develops good seersuckering with age. A Wilkins sport of an 'Aspen Gold' seedling; outstanding substance, color and form; excellent specimen plant and useful in combination with gold or blue-leaved cultivars.
