*Hosta* 'Sails Ho' is a medium-sized sport of *Hosta* 'Krossa Regal', registered in 1995. It is distinguished by its blue-green leaves with creamy white margins and a prominent, heavy ripple along the leaf edge. The cultivar forms a dense, mound-like clump and produces blue-green scapes bearing lavender flowers in mid to late summer.

*Hosta* 'Sails Ho' performs best in partial to full shade, where its blue-green leaf centers and white margins remain most vivid. The leaves are slightly shiny on the upper surface and possess a glaucous bloom beneath. Each leaf measures approximately 7 inches (17.8 cm) in length and 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) in width, with 8 to 9 pairs of veins and a rounded base. The creamy white margins are about 0.5 inches (1.3 cm) wide and are streaked with blue-green, while the heavy rippling along the leaf edge adds textural interest. The plant reaches a mature diameter of about 24 inches (61.0 cm) and a height of 12 inches (30.5 cm), with scapes rising 24 to 30 inches (61.0 to 76.2 cm) tall. Its moderate growth rate and compact, mounded habit make it suitable for the front of a shaded border, as an edging plant, or in containers. Companion plants that contrast with its blue-green and white foliage include ferns, *Heuchera* cultivars with red or purple leaves, and *Carex* species with fine-textured golden or bronze foliage.
