Registered in 2009, 'Ohh! Valeria' is a large hosta cultivar of unknown parentage, distinguished by its blue-green leaves with gold margins and a semi-upright growth habit. The broadly ovate, lightly to moderately corrugated leaves measure 11 inches (27.9 cm) long and 7.5 inches (19.1 cm) wide, with 13 to 15 vein pairs, a glaucous bloom on the upper surface, and a dull underside; the yellow margins are slightly rippled.

In the Garden

This cultivar forms a substantial clump 36 inches (91.4 cm) in diameter and 20 inches (50.8 cm) tall, with scapes reaching 15 to 26 inches (38.1 to 66.0 cm) in height. It performs best in partial to full shade, where the blue-green leaf color and gold margins hold well, and pairs effectively with ferns, heucheras, or other shade-tolerant perennials. Its neat growth and bloom habit make it suitable for border plantings or as a specimen in woodland gardens.
