Overview

Registered in 2003 as a sport of *Hosta* 'Gypsy Rose', 'Let Me Entertain You' is a medium-sized variegated cultivar distinguished by its medium green leaf margins and lighter leaf centers. The leaves measure 7.5 inches (19.1 cm) in length and 5 inches (12.7 cm) in width, and the plant is noted as possibly tetraploid.

In the Garden

'Let Me Entertain You' performs best in partial to full shade, forming a clump of moderate spread typical of medium hostas. Its variegated foliage provides contrast when paired with ferns, heucheras, or other shade-tolerant perennials with solid green or dark foliage. This cultivar is suitable for border fronts, woodland gardens, or shaded foundation plantings.

Care Notes

Water regularly to maintain even soil moisture, particularly during dry spells. Apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. As with most hostas, slug and deer damage may occur and should be managed through appropriate barriers or deterrents.
