In the Garden
'Grandpa's Love' forms an upright clump reaching 14 inches (35.6 cm) in height and 25 inches (63.5 cm) in diameter, making it suitable for the front of a border or as an edging plant. It performs best in partial to full shade, where the gold margins hold their color without scorching, and pairs well with ferns, heucheras, and other small hostas.
