In the Garden
'Hosta 'Golden Scepter' reaches a mature diameter of 18 inches (45.7 cm) and a height of 12 inches (30.5 cm), with scapes rising to 22 inches (55.9 cm). It performs best in partial to full shade, though the gold margins are most vivid with some morning sun. Its compact size makes it suitable for the front of borders, rock gardens, or containers.
