Overview
Registered in 2009, 'Chi-town Classic' is a small hosta cultivar derived from a stable form of a *Hosta* 'Breeder's Choice' seedling. It is visually distinctive for its medium green, narrowly ovate leaves with moderately wavy margins and creamy white edges measuring 0.25 to 0.5 inches (0.6–1.3 cm) wide; the leaf surface is dull above and slightly shiny beneath.

'Chi-town Classic' forms a compact, mound-like clump reaching 11 inches (27.9 cm) in height and 31 inches (78.7 cm) in diameter, with a moderate growth rate. It is suitable for shaded to partially shaded borders, rock gardens, or the front of woodland beds, and its small size makes it appropriate for container cultivation.
