Registered in 2012, *Hosta* 'Sunday Morning' is a medium-sized cultivar of unknown parentage beyond its pod parent, *H.* 'Sun Power'. It is visually distinctive for its blue-green leaves with golden yellow, slightly rippled margins, the leaf surface being dull above with a glaucous bloom beneath.

In the Garden

With a mature diameter of 26 inches (66.0 cm) and height of 16 inches (40.6 cm), 'Sunday Morning' forms an upright, moderately growing clump suitable for the middle of the border or as a specimen in part shade. Its blue-green foliage with gold margins pairs well with ferns, heucheras, and other shade perennials; the gold margins will be most pronounced with some morning sun.

Care Notes

Provide consistent moisture, especially during dry periods, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Standard slug and deer precautions are advisable in typical hosta-growing zones.
