Registered in 2015 from unknown parentage, *Hosta* 'Miss Ellie Fish' is a large cultivar distinguished by its bright yellow spring foliage overlaid with a powdery blue bloom, maturing to green leaves with gold margins. The broadly ovate, moderately folded leaves exhibit lightly rippled yellow margins, slight upper gloss, and dull undersides, with 15 vein pairs.

'Miss Ellie Fish' forms an upright, moderate-growing clump reaching approximately 59 inches (150 cm) in diameter and 26 inches (66 cm) in height, making it suitable for mid-border or specimen placement in partial to full shade. Its large, corrugated leaves pair well with ferns, astilbes, and other shade perennials; the gold margins provide contrast against darker foliage. Not recommended for container culture due to its substantial mature size.

Care Notes
