Registered in 1994 by an unknown breeder, *Hosta* 'Lakeside Charm' is a medium-sized variegated cultivar distinguished by its lime green leaf margins and smooth, slightly glossy foliage. The leaves are cordate at the base, measuring 7 inches (17.8 cm) in both length and width, with 12 pairs of veins.

In the Garden

This cultivar forms a dense, mound-like clump reaching 14 inches (35.6 cm) in height and 30 inches (76.2 cm) in diameter. It performs best in partial to full shade, where its lime green margins remain most vibrant. Suitable companions include ferns, *Heuchera*, and other shade-tolerant perennials; its medium size makes it appropriate for border fronts or woodland gardens.
