Registered in 1999, *Hosta* 'Kiwi Canoe' is a self-pollinated seedling of *H.* 'Blue Cadet' that forms a compact, mound-like clump. Its small stature and blue-green leaves with dull surfaces on both sides distinguish it from other small blue-leaved cultivars.

In the Garden

'Kiwi Canoe' reaches approximately 18 inches (45 cm) in height and 22 inches (55 cm) in diameter, with a fast growth rate. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical of most hostas, and is well-suited to rock gardens, container plantings, or the front of shaded borders. Its small size and neat habit pair effectively with ferns, heucheras, and other shade-tolerant perennials.

Care Notes
