A sport of *Hosta* 'Grand Tiara' registered in 1998, 'Gilded Tiara' is a small hosta distinguished by its green leaves with greenish-yellow to yellow margins. The leaves measure 4 inches (10.2 cm) in length and 3 inches (7.6 cm) in width, with 7 to 8 pairs of veins.

'Gilded Tiara' reaches a mature size typical of small hostas, suitable for the front of borders, rock gardens, or container cultivation. It performs best in partial to full shade, though the gold margins may intensify with some morning sun. Companion plants include small ferns, heucheras, or other miniature hostas that complement its compact habit.
