The foliage emerges lime-green to yellow, maturing to a blue-green center with a narrow, slightly rippled white edge, while the scapes are notable for their red-purple coloration throughout.

This cultivar forms a mound-like clump reaching 16 inches in height and 30 inches in diameter, with a moderate growth rate. It is reported to be sun tolerant, making it suitable for positions with more light than typical for the genus, though it performs best in partial shade with consistent moisture. The substantial, deeply corrugated leaves pair well with ferns, heucheras, or other shade perennials that contrast with its bold texture and lime-yellow to blue-green tones.
