Registered in 2008 as a sport of *Hosta* 'Hidden Cove', 'Valley's Secret Cove' is a miniature cultivar distinguished by its arrow-shaped leaves with a white center and green, slightly rippled margins. The leaf pattern remains consistent throughout the growing season, and the foliage exhibits a dull upper surface with a slightly shiny underside.

In the Garden

Reaching a mature diameter of approximately 8 inches (20.1 cm) and a height of 4 inches (9.9 cm), this miniature hosta is well suited for rock gardens, troughs, or the front of a shaded border. It performs best in partial to full shade and pairs effectively with other small perennials such as *Heuchera* or *Tiarella*. Its compact size also makes it an excellent candidate for container cultivation.

Care Notes

Provide consistent moisture during the growing season, and apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges.
