Overview
Registered in 2007, 'Tropical Storm' is a sport of *Hosta* 'Rain Forest Sunrise' that produces a small clump of intensely corrugated, nearly round leaves. The foliage is medium green with a sharply defined, flat golden yellow margin approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide, with a slightly shiny upper surface and dull underside.
In the Garden
This compact cultivar reaches 10 inches (25.4 cm) in height and 16 inches (40.6 cm) in diameter, with a fast growth rate. Its small size and lightly cupped, corrugated leaves make it suitable for the front of shaded borders, rock gardens, or container plantings.
