Overview

Registered in 2012 by an unknown hybridizer, *Hosta* 'Shake My Bootie' is a miniature cultivar distinguished by its bright, deep coloration: ovate, moderately cupped leaves are green with gold margins and exhibit streaked yellow and green flat margins. The leaf surface is slightly shiny both above and below, and the plant produces green scapes 10 to 12 inches (25.4–30.5 cm) tall.

'Shake My Bootie' reaches a mature size of approximately 5 inches (12.7 cm) in height and 9 inches (22.9 cm) in diameter, with an upright growth habit and moderate growth rate. Its compact dimensions make it well suited for the front of a shade border, rock gardens, or container cultivation. Companion plants might include small ferns, heucheras, or other miniature hostas that share similar light and moisture requirements.

Care Notes
