Registered in 2005 as a sport of a seedling of unknown parentage, *Hosta* 'Reflections' is a medium-sized cultivar distinguished by its nearly round, dark glossy green leaves with broad creamy white margins. The leaf surface is notably shiny, appearing to reflect light, and the thick substance contributes to the plant's substantial mound-like form.

*Hosta* 'Reflections' forms a moderate-growing mound 16 inches (40.6 cm) tall and 40 inches (101.6 cm) in diameter, with leaf blades 8 inches (20.3 cm) long by 6 inches (15.2 cm) wide. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical for hostas, and its thick, glossy leaves provide good substance for garden presence. The white-margined foliage pairs well with dark-leaved companions such as *Heuchera* 'Palace Purple' or ferns, and the plant's medium size suits border middles or woodland garden placements.

Care Notes

Provide consistent moisture during the growing season, particularly in warmer exposures, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges.
