=montana 'Mountain Snow'. 24" tall. Light Shade. Medium green leaves with a white margin, 14" long. Wavy edges. White flowers on 40" scapes. A very choice large jade green with creamy white margin. This white edged sport of the green leaf Hosta montana is exceptional, emerging very late in the spring. Hosta 'Mountain Snow' eventually makes a nice 4'+ wide mound. Folks who have seen a mature clump would not be without a clump of Hosta 'Mountain Snow' in their garden. The 40" spikes of near white flowers top the clump in early summer. White-margined sport of Hosta montana 'Aureomarginata'; near white flowers. This is a white margined sport of Hosta montana. The margin is rather narrow, unlike that of montana 'Aureo-marginata', but there is a lot of gray streaking into the center. Flowers are pale lavender. Late riser, green, white edge. Green leaves have appealing snow white margins. The large, long leaves gracefully arch to form an exotic-looking mound. A sport of Hosta montana 'Aureomarginata'. White flowers. If you like big leaves (14" x 8"), this mutation of montana Aureomarginata should be in your garden! The montana lineage is evident in these large prominently veined leaves. The emerald green base color is accented by a bright white margin. The margin color streaks and blends; resulting in several shades of green and clean white-sometimes streaking to the midrib. In typical montana fashion, the leaves are held erect in a dense cluster. An impressive presence in the garden. 27" x 60". Blooms off white. Shade to 3/4 sun. Growth average.
