'Lakeside Meter Maid' forms a dense clump reaching 18 inches (45.7 cm) in height and 36 inches (91.4 cm) in diameter, with a fast growth rate. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical for hostas, and its medium size makes it suitable for mid-border positions or as a specimen in woodland gardens. The white-margined foliage pairs well with dark-leaved perennials such as *Heuchera* 'Palace Purple' or ferns.
