Registered in 2012, *Hosta* 'Kayla Marie' is a small-sized cultivar of unknown parentage. Its distinctive appearance derives from green leaves with white margins that are variably streaked with white, combined with red stems that contrast with the foliage.

'Kayla Marie' reaches a mature height of 12 inches (30.5 cm) and spreads to 10 inches (25.4 cm) in diameter, forming a compact, mound-like habit with moderate growth. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical for hostas, and its small size makes it suitable for rock gardens, troughs, or the front of shaded borders. Companion plants such as ferns, heucheras, or small woodland perennials complement its muted green-and-white variegation.
