Overview

Registered in 2009, 'Glen Eyeful Tower' is a large, upright hosta cultivar of unknown pollen parentage, with *H. 'White Triumphator'* as the pod parent. It is visually distinguished by its substantial blue-green leaves with a glaucous bloom on both surfaces, flat margins, and light corrugation, combined with exceptionally tall scapes reaching 72 to 84 inches (182.9 to 213.4 cm).

In the Garden

With a mature spread of 48 inches (121.9 cm) and height of 36 inches (91.4 cm), this cultivar commands space in the border or as a specimen. Its notable sun tolerance allows placement in more exposed sites than typical for blue-leaved hostas, though it performs best in partial shade typical of hosta-growing zones. The tall scapes and upright habit suit it for the back of a mixed shade garden, where it pairs well with ferns or *Heuchera*.

Care Notes

Provide consistent moisture during dry periods, particularly in sunnier locations, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as growth emerges. While exhibiting moderate growth rate, standard slug and deer precautions are advisable for optimal leaf condition.
