Registered in 2010 as a sport of an unnamed parent, *Hosta* 'Electric Love' is a medium-sized cultivar distinguished by its green leaves with white margins and white-striped veins. The foliage exhibits slightly rippled margins and a subtle sheen on both surfaces, with eight pairs of veins per leaf.

'Electric Love' forms a compact, mound-like clump reaching 14 inches (35.6 cm) in height and 23 inches (58.4 cm) in diameter, with a moderate growth rate. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical for hostas, and its ovate leaves with rounded bases create a tidy groundcover effect. This cultivar pairs well with ferns, heucheras, and other shade perennials, and its medium size suits border fronts or container plantings.
