Overview

Registered in 2011, *Hosta* 'Don’t Touch My Junk' is a small-sized cultivar of unknown parentage. It is visually distinctive for its green leaves with gold margins that exhibit streaked greenish-yellow, slightly rippled edges, a broadly ovate shape with a cordate base, and a slightly shiny upper surface with a dull underside.

In the Garden

This cultivar reaches a mature height of 10 inches (25.4 cm) and a spread of 14 inches (35.6 cm), with an upright, moderate growth habit. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical of hostas, and pairs well with other small shade perennials such as ferns, heucheras, or dwarf astilbes. Its small size makes it suitable for container cultivation, rock gardens, or the front of a shaded border.

Care Notes

Provide consistent moisture, especially during dry periods, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Like most hostas, it is susceptible to slug and deer damage; monitor and manage as needed in typical hosta-growing zones.
