Registered in 1988 by R. Savory, this small blue-green hosta cultivar resulted from a hybrid cross. Its distinctive appearance is defined by rounded, cupped leaves with blue-green margins and prominent veining, forming a compact, mounded habit.
In the Garden
'Hosta 'Roundabout' reaches a mature spread of 24 inches (61.0 cm) and height of 18 inches (45.7 cm), making it suitable for the front of borders or as a groundcover in partial to full shade. Its small size and tidy form also suit container cultivation. Companion plants include ferns, heucheras, and other small hostas.
