Registered in 2012 from unknown parentage, *Hosta* 'Olympic Fab Five' is a large cultivar distinguished by its nearly round, bright yellow leaves with golden yellow, slightly rippled margins. The foliage presents a slightly shiny upper surface and a dull underside, with leaves measuring 11 inches (27.9 cm) long and 10 inches (25.4 cm) wide, supported by 10 vein pairs.

In the Garden

This cultivar reaches a mature height of 14 inches (35.6 cm) and spreads to 33 inches (83.8 cm) in diameter, with an upright, moderate growth habit. It performs best in partial to full shade, as is typical for hostas, and its bold, near-round leaves make it suitable as a specimen or in mixed shade borders. The green center with gold margins pairs well with ferns or other shade-tolerant perennials.

Care Notes
