Registered in 2002, *Hosta* 'Oh! Them Golden Slippers' is a medium-sized cultivar of unknown parentage (pollen parent unknown) from the seed parent *Hosta* 'Sea Prize'. It is visually distinctive for its broadly ovate, slightly cupped green leaves with flat golden yellow margins that retain their bright color throughout the summer, even in shaded conditions, and for its reddish-green scapes dotted with purple that bear deep purple flowers.

In the Garden

This cultivar forms an upright, moderate-growing clump reaching approximately 20 inches (50.8 cm) in height and 41 inches (104.1 cm) in diameter at maturity. It performs best in partial to full shade, where the golden leaf margins remain most vivid, and is suitable for typical hosta-growing zones. Its medium size and upright habit make it appropriate for border fronts, woodland gardens, or as a specimen in shaded beds; it pairs well with ferns, astilbes, or other shade-tolerant perennials.
