Overview
Registered in 2009 by K. Walek for the American Hosta Society, *Hosta* 'Green Blade' is a small-sized sport of *Hosta* 'Yellow Splash'. This cultivar is visually distinctive for its ovate leaves with solid green margins and a shiny upper surface, contrasting with a matte green underside; the leaf center is not variegated, giving the plant a clean, uniform green appearance.

'Hosta' Green Blade forms a compact, mound-like clump reaching 14 inches (35.6 cm) in height and 24 inches (61.0 cm) in diameter. It performs best in partial to full shade, with leaves holding their green color well in typical hosta-growing zones.
