Registered in 1999, *Hosta* 'Galactic Starburst' is a medium-sized variegated cultivar derived from a hybrid of *H. 'Starburst'*. It is distinguished by its medium green leaves streaked with dark green, slightly rippled margins, and a rounded leaf base, with both leaf surfaces exhibiting a slight shine.

In the Garden

This cultivar forms an upright, fast-growing clump reaching approximately 18 inches (45.7 cm) in height and 35 inches (88.9 cm) in diameter. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical for hostas, and pairs well with ferns, heucheras, or other shade-tolerant perennials. Its medium size makes it suitable for border fronts or woodland garden settings.
