The broadly ovate, deeply corrugated foliage exhibits a glaucous bloom on the upper surface and a slightly shiny underside, with flat, green-yellow margins.

'Blitz' reaches a mature spread of approximately 24 inches (60 cm) and a height of 14 inches (35 cm), with an upright, moderate growth habit. Its sun resistance makes it suitable for brighter positions than many hostas, though it performs best in typical hosta-growing zones with some afternoon shade. This small cultivar is well suited for rock gardens, front-of-border placements, or container culture, pairing effectively with ferns, heucheras, and small shade perennials.
