Overview
A medium-sized sport of *Hosta* 'Snow Crust', registered in 2000, 'All Jazzed Up' is distinguished by its medium green leaves with gold margins and slightly rippled edges. The leaf surface is slightly shiny on both top and bottom, with a rounded base and ten pairs of veins.
In the Garden
This cultivar forms a fast-growing mound 30 inches (76.2 cm) in diameter and 9 inches (22.9 cm) tall, making it suitable for mid-border positions in partial to full shade. Its green and gold foliage pairs well with blue-leaved hostas or fine-textured ferns. The 26- to 28-inch (66.0–71.1 cm) green scapes produce lavender flowers in midsummer.
Care Notes
Provide consistent moisture, particularly during establishment, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Like most hostas, it is susceptible to slug and deer damage, so protective measures may be needed in gardens where these pests are prevalent.
