'My Claire' forms a compact, mound-like clump reaching 12 inches (30.5 cm) in height and 30 inches (76.2 cm) in diameter, with a moderate growth rate. It performs best in partial to full shade, where its variegation remains most stable, and pairs well with other small hostas, ferns, or shade-tolerant perennials such as *Heuchera* or *Tiarella*.
