Hosta "Granny's Rouge" review
Hosta 'Granny's Rouge' is an attractive hosta that starts the season yellow and then becomes a light green. Rosy petioles recall memories of granny’s petal-soft cheeks. Doug uses this Hosta 'Sweet Susan' x Hosta 'Hirao Majesty' seedling in his hybridizing program to pass on red legs and yellow leaves. Pale lavender flowers bloom on tall scapes from July to August.
