A sport of *Hosta* 'Cherry Berry' registered in 2001, 'Cherries Jubilee' is a small-sized cultivar distinguished by its green leaves with white margins and unstable white streaking. Its purple scapes and upright growth habit further set it apart within the *Hosta* genus.

In the Garden

'Cherries Jubilee' reaches a mature diameter of 19 inches (48.3 cm) and a height of 14 inches (35.6 cm), making it suitable for the front of borders, rock gardens, or container cultivation. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical of most hostas, and pairs well with ferns, heucheras, and other shade-tolerant perennials. Its slow growth rate and compact size also make it an excellent choice for small-space gardens.

Care Notes

Provide consistent moisture, especially during dry periods, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. While slugs and deer may occasionally browse the foliage, the plant's small size and upright habit can reduce vulnerability compared to larger-leaved cultivars.
