Registered in 1991 by P. Banyai, this large hosta is a hybrid of *Hosta* 'Crispula'. Its most distinctive feature is the variegated foliage, with dull dark green margins surrounding a lighter center, and the leaf surface is notably crinkled or corrugated, giving the cultivar its common name.

Reaching a mature spread of 30 inches (76.2 cm) and a height of 20 inches (50.8 cm), 'Lucy's Crinkles' is best suited to partial to full shade, as is typical for most hostas.
