Overview
Registered in 2010, 'T N T' is a sport of *Hosta* 'Paul's Glory' distinguished by its blue-green leaves with chartreuse to medium golden yellow margins that are substantially thicker and wider—1 to 1.5 inches (2.5–3.8 cm)—than those of its parent. The ovate, cordate-based leaves are 9 inches (22.9 cm) long and 7 inches (17.8 cm) wide, with a dull upper surface and glaucous bloom beneath, and feature 10 to 12 vein pairs with lightly wavy, moderately corrugated texture.
In the Garden
This medium-sized hosta forms a mound 18 inches (45.7 cm) tall and 45 inches (114.3 cm) in diameter, with a moderate growth rate. It performs best in partial to full shade, where the gold margins remain brightest, and pairs well with ferns, heucheras, and other shade-tolerant perennials. The 30- to 40-inch (76.2–101.6 cm) scapes bear lavender flowers in midsummer.
Care Notes
Water regularly to maintain even moisture, especially during dry spells, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Slugs may damage young foliage, though the thick leaf substance offers some resistance; deer browsing is possible in typical hosta-growing zones.
