Registered in 2010 by P. & J. Ruh, this medium-sized cultivar produces blue-green foliage with medium green, slightly rippled margins. In the Garden
'Hosta 'Millard Fillmore' forms a mound 19 inches (48.3 cm) high and 41 inches (104.1 cm) in diameter, with a moderate growth rate. It is suitable for partial to full shade in typical hosta-growing zones, where its blue-green leaves provide contrast alongside gold or chartreuse-foliaged companions such as *Hosta* 'Sum and Substance' or *Carex* species. The light green scapes reach 27 inches (68.6 cm) and bear attractive flowers.
Care Notes
Provide consistent moisture during the growing season; apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Standard slug and deer precautions are advisable, as with most hostas.
