Overview
Registered in 1998 by Mary Chastain of Lakeside Acres Nursery, this miniature hosta forms a fast-growing, mound-like clump. It is distinguished by medium green leaves with flat white margins, reaching 9 inches (22.9 cm) in diameter and 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) in height.
In the Garden
Suitable for partial to full shade, as typical for the genus. At maturity, plants form compact mounds 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall and 9 inches (22.9 cm) wide, with leaves 3 inches (7.6 cm) long and 1.75 inches (4.4 cm) wide. The small size makes it appropriate for rock gardens, troughs, or the front of shaded borders, where it pairs well with other miniature perennials such as *Heuchera* or *Tiarella*. It is also well suited to container cultivation.
Care Notes
Provide consistent moisture, particularly during dry periods, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. As with most hostas, slug and deer damage may occur; monitor and manage as needed in typical hosta-growing zones.
