Overview
A sport of *Hosta* 'Lady Gaga', registered in 2014, 'Lady Luck' is a small, fast-growing cultivar distinguished by its blue-green leaves with creamy white margins and red petioles. The ovate leaves are slightly shiny above with a glaucous bloom beneath, featuring moderately wavy edges and a tapered base.
In the Garden
'Lady Luck' reaches a mature spread of approximately 19 inches (48.6 cm) and a height of 11.6 inches (29.5 cm), forming a compact, mound-like habit. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical of hostas, and its small stature makes it suitable for rock gardens, container plantings, or the front of a shaded border. Companion plants might include small ferns, *Heuchera*, or *Tiarella*.
Care Notes
Provide consistent moisture, especially during dry periods, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. As with most hostas, slug and deer damage may occur; monitor accordingly.
