Registered in 1982 by K. Anderson, this small hosta is a hybrid of *Hosta venusta*. It is distinguished by its green leaves with yellow margins and a satiny upper surface, forming a compact mound.

'Honey Moon' reaches a mature spread of 24 inches (61.0 cm) and a height of 18 inches (45.7 cm). As a small cultivar, it is well suited for the front of a border, rock gardens, or container cultivation. It performs best in partial to full shade and combines well with other small hostas, ferns, or shade-tolerant perennials such as *Heuchera*.
