Overview
Registered in 2015, this small variegated hosta resulted from a cross between *Hosta* 'Korean Snow' and *Hosta* 'June'. Its foliage consists of medium to dark green margins framing a lighter center, with leaves described as ovate and intensely flat, bearing five vein pairs and a slightly shiny surface on both sides.
In the Garden
With a mature diameter of 16.5 inches (41.9 cm) and height of 11.75 inches (29.8 cm), this mound-forming plant suits the front of borders, rock gardens, or container plantings. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical for hostas, and its moderate growth rate and dense habit make it a reliable groundcover beneath deciduous trees or alongside other small perennials such as ferns and heucheras.
Care Notes
Provide consistent moisture, especially during dry periods, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Like most hostas, it is susceptible to slug and deer damage, so monitoring and protective measures may be necessary in areas where these pests are prevalent.
